The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is one of the world’s largest multilateral development banks, fostering economic development and social progress in its 57-member countries, across four continents, touching the lives of 1 in 5 of the world’s population. Since taking up his role as President, Dr Bandar has driven the Bank towards significant reform, making the organisation more globally facing, placing partnerships, technology and innovation and global engagement at the heart of their reform programme and working with Muslims and non-Muslims alike.  Prior to joining the IsDB, Dr Bandar served in senior ministerial positions in the Saudi government as Minister of Hajj and the Minister of Culture and Information for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
