David Pitt-Watson | Finance at COP26 | The Path to COP26 - One Year To Go

David Pitt-Watson, investor, Visiting Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School, and former UNEP FI Chair, delivers his thoughts on COP26, drawing upon his experiences of COP21 to understand what the finance sector can achieve at next year’s crucial climate change summit.

This event was held during the period in which the Glasgow summit would originally have taken place, with Gail Hurley of GEFI, Hamish Patrick of Shepherd + Wedderburn, David Pitt-Watson, investor and Cambridge University Visiting Fellow , Ingrid Holmes of Federated Hermes and Isabel Fernandez of ING discussing the role of the finance sector in COP.

Along with the 10 days of the 2021 summit, the run-up will be critical to set the foundations and frame the commitments required through national diplomacy and civil society actions. Our Path to COP26 campaign seeks to bring the finance sector together ahead to ensure that we can make COP26 a successful summit.
