The Alignment of Faith & the SDGs | Fireside | Faith in the SDGs | Path to COP26
How well are faith traditions aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and what can the conventional sector learn from faith-based approaches like Islamic Finance?
Umer Suleman of Wahed Invest and Lord John Alderdice of the University of Oxford’s Centre for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict speak to Lorna Gold of FaithInvest & the Laudato Si’ Movement to discuss.
Held in partnership with the Global Ethical Finance Initiative (GEFI), the Faith in the SDGs programme looked at how faith-based finance can support the SDGs, along with separate workstreaks focused on nature, pensions and economics.
This event took place during COP26, as part of our pathtocop26.com campaign.
